FAS Student Acrylic is a versatile, rapid-drying and non-toxic selection of brilliant acrylic colours that can be diluted with water and is permanent when dry. Offering an excellent painting experience at a most economical price.
The range includes over 30 user-friendly vibrant shades that are intense, pure, lightfast*, non-yellowing and can be mixed with each other to create almost any chromatic effect.

The ‘Cool’ and ‘Warm’ primary colour system offers easier mixing and understanding of colour. Making this an ideal acrylic paint for the teaching of the colour theory.

Versatile
FAS Student Acrylic is limited only by your imagination. Paint directly from the tube or bottle for all forms of water based acrylic painting, simulated oil painting, poster colour, textile painting, printmaking, lift-offs and transfers, leaf prints, scraped painting, wet on wet painting, string painting, modelling textured effects. Thin with water or a medium for washes, glazing, and watercolour effects.

Applying:
Bristle or soft brushes give the best effective flow. But you can use sponges, scrapers, combs or stencils, cuttings or create special effects by impressing objects.

FAS Student Acrylic can be painted onto almost any surface including: paper, card, canvas, wood, fabric, masonry, plastic and glass.

Cleaning:
Protective clothing and a work area cover sheet is recommended. Difficult to remove when dry. Clean up brushes, hands and palette with soap and water. Keep brushes wet while in use and stand up to dry to avoid hair damage.

Use FAS Gesso in white or black for surface preparation and sealing for a durable and lasting finish.

FAS Gesso Tip: When painting a warm or cool painting try tinting your background with FAS Gesso and little red paint for a warm pink sunset feel or tint with blue for a cool rainy day effect. 

* Fluorescent colours and magenta have less reliable lightfastness.
