FAS Impasto
Acrylic Colour is a professional grade artist acrylic colour that has
been thickly formulated to offer superior shape retention for knife
marks and brush strokes. It is loaded with high quality lightfast and
waterproof pigments that offer very low shrinkage yet allows plenty of
flexibility to ensure that every dynamic brush stroke, peak, valley
retains the full expressive power intended by the artist.
 Applied
undiluted by brush or knife it gives a rich deep impasto finish that
offers excellent shape retention without the need to use an impasto
medium. The colours may easily be reduced with a medium or water to
lower viscosities to allow the very subtlest of fine watercolour washes
and glazes.
FAS
Impasto Acrylic Colour is equivalent in colour strength and permanency
to most professional grades of paint but is much more affordable.

paper by professional and senior student artists. Impasto Acrylic
Colour
enables the artist to explore and create any art, craft or design
activity with one set of acrylic colours and can be used for all
forms of impasto work to water-based acrylic painting effects. |

CHARACTERISTICS: |
Impasto Acrylic Colour will adhere to practically any porous surface. Can be used on
canvas, paper, wood, fabrics, plaster and more. We recommend the
preparation of the surface with FAS Gesso first.
Quality, non-toxic pigments of high permanence are used which
renders the paint flexible, waterproof when dry and with the
addition of retarder converts to a quality screen printing ink.
The intermix-ability of the strong colours makes this an ideal paint
for teaching and learning the art of mixing colours, producing
strong secondary and tertiary colours. |

APPLICATION: |
Apply directly from the tube or
jar by brush or palette knife. No need for impasto mediums, this
acrylic colour has all the body needed to produce a thick impasto
finish. But it also reduces very easily to allow watercolour washes
and glazes. |

CLEANING: |
Wash up with soap and water
immediately after use, the painted surface becomes permanent. |
