FAS Block Printing Ink
is a quality water-based, gloss finish printing ink.

Used by professional craft printers and students working with wooden blocks, lino and vegetable cuts to create a design that is transferable from a block to paper or fabric with the use of lino rollers.

FAS Block Printing InkThis water based printing ink offers many outstanding features: non-toxic, clean crisp intermixable colours, high tack for uniform coverage, excellent definition, long open time, an even detailed print. Also layers very well, easy to clean up, high opacity and the roller re-wetting and overprinting properties are of a high standard.

The print quality is clean, sharp and even. Block Printing Ink is extremely versatile for all relief-printing techniques and fun and exciting to work with from the simplicity of block printing to stencilling.

Equipment used can easily be cleaned with water. Available in 120ml see through tubes in a good range of bright colours including silver and gold.

Use the Block Printing Ink Extender Medium to reduce the depth of colour without losing any pigment concentration.

USE FOR:. Paper and card surfaces, lino printing, polystyrene block printing, wood block printing, stencilling, screen and non-permanent fabric printing. Excellent for school or studio use.
CHARACTERISTICS: Bright, non-toxic, lightfast, water based thick professional Block Printing Ink. Offers a long open time - this allows time for the artist to add colours or detail before the ink starts to dry.  Also offers a very high tack with a gloss finish.
APPLICATION:. Can be applied directly from the tube.

For best results try sealing cardboard or wooden surfaces with FAS Gesso first . In cold weather stand tube in warm water for 3-4 minutes to make rolling out easier.

CLEANING: All equipment may be cleaned up in soap and water after use. Protective clothing is recommended.
