FAS, Art and Poster Paint is a bright, smooth, non-toxic and waterproof permanent paint that dries to a matte finish. This popular multi-purpose paint can be used indoors and outdoors for professional sign writing and for school craft work, hobbies, general domestic artwork, posters, ticket writing and theatrical scenery. A palette range of strong bright inter-mixable colours is available including fluorescent colours and metallic gold and silver. When the fluorescent colours are displayed under ultraviolet (black) light they come alive with a magical glow.

Thin with water if necessary and wash up utensils and brushes with soap and water immediately after use.

FAS Gesso Tip: When painting a warm or cool painting try tinting your background with FAS Gesso and little red paint for a warm pink sunset feel or tint with blue for a cool rainy day effect. 

FAQ: How does FAS Art and Poster differ from FAS Fine Art Student Acrylic?
Art and Poster is a thicker formulation and dries to a flat matte colour. Designed for outdoor/indoor use being weatherproof  - making this paint idea for indoor/outdoor signage use. Both are permanent and lightfast.

CAUTION:
Wear protective or old clothing. Some residual staining may occur.

USE FOR:.

 

 Ticket writing, sign writing, posters, large scale interior work such as theatrical scenery, large scale murals, classroom and studio work, general arts and crafts.
CHARACTERISTICS: A smooth rich in colour, non-toxic, permanent waterproof matte paint. Real covering power at an economical price. Overall good performance and dries quickly.
APPLICATION:. Stir the bottle before use. Can be applied directly from the bottle/jar. Dilute with water if necessary. For best results with fluorescent colours, use FAS Art and Poster White as a base coat. If painting outdoors, always use an under coat or FAS Gesso for a lasting durable finish. 
The super-bright fluorescent colours are not recommended for intermixing, as this would destroy the brilliance of tone.

CLEANING: Wash up equipment with soap and water. As a precaution suitable protective clothing should be worn. Paint is permanent when dry.
REMARKS & TIPS: A ready to use paint. Excellent paint for educational purposes.  Fluorescent colours are translucent and greater intensity can be achieved by working over a bright white surface. Do not mix with turpentine or oils. Mix only with other acrylic emulsion paints or mediums. Use FAS Gesso for surface preparation and sealing for a durable and lasting finish.
